Who Are We?

Grove Park Christian Church was birthed out of the St. Peter Church of Christ, April 1963, under the leadership of Elder C. W. Sutton. We fellowshipped at 100 S. Bynum Blvd. until the flood of 1999. We relocated to the present site as a result of the flood. Our present edifice was erected by volunteers from all over the United States and Canada in 2005. We are Grove Park Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), a congregational governing body of believers. Our worship services are held every 1st through 4th Sunday at 10:00 AM (no service on 5th Sundays). Come worship with us to the glory of God!

What Do We Believe?

We Believe that those in Christ are pardoned, justified, sanctified, and adopted into the family of God and are saved.

* Pardoned wherein we were guilty

* Justified wherein we were condemned

* Sanctified wherein we were unholy

* Saved wherein we were lost

We believe that sin condemns, pollutes, alienates, and destroys, while grace justifies, sanctifies, adopts and saves.

As members of the Christian Church, we believe that Jesus is the Christ, the son of the Living God, and proclaim Him Lord and Savior of the world.
